A volunteer initiative
Project Fermat
A small volunteer initiative helping middle school students (Classes 6–8) in underserved schools across Delhi NCR build a foundation in olympiad mathematics — from SOF IMO and NMTC toward IOQM and RMO. Less about solving a particular problem, more about learning how to look at one.
What we do
-
Foundations first
Olympiad work rewards students who are secure in the basics. We start there.
-
Problem solving
Sessions built around the habit of sitting with a hard problem, and being wrong without giving up.
-
A pathway, not a cram
We follow the route students actually travel, rather than treating the exams as the point.
-
Open resources
Notes and problem sets released freely, so the work reaches students we cannot teach in person.
Volunteer as a tutor
We're looking for undergraduates, senior school students, and teachers who are genuinely good at mathematics and want to teach it — people who'd rather spend a Saturday on a hard problem than almost anything else. No formal teaching experience needed. Reach out with a short introduction and your mathematical background:
